Now that Yuengling is distributed in West Virginia, we're going to make our debut at our first festival in the Mountain State.
On Saturday, June 27th, the streets of historic Shepherdstown will buzz with the Fifth Annual Shepherdstown Street Fest. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. residents and visitors will enjoy arts, crafts, live music, food, and free activities in the heart of town – and thanks to Jefferson Distributing Co., one of our new West Virginia wholesalers, when they need refreshment they can step into the German-style beer garden and quench their thirst with some products from Yuengling Brewery.
Shepherdstown is the oldest town in West Virginia, so it seems fitting that Yuengling, “America's Oldest Brewery,” is going to help visitors have a wonderful time while they listen to local and regional bands, including The Sean Cookus Quartet, Forrest Brown's Dirty Little Secret, The Speakeasy Boys, The Giants of Tiny Town, and TMD. And it's a family-friendly event, with a variety of free children’s activities.
For directions and parking information, visit www.shepherdstownstreetfest.org. We hope to see you there.

It is our 180th Year here at America's Oldest Brewery, and that is certainly reason to celebrate. We have been running promotions all year long in bars and retail outlets, and next Monday it is time to celebrate at the brewery! On Monday, June 29th, we will have a 180th Celebration at America's Oldest Brewery on Mahantongo Street in Pottsville. Our local Pottsville radio station, T-102 , will be broadcasting live from the brewery for this event. They will be interviewing some of our team members, and giving away some prizes too.

Let the competition begin! Yuengling and 93.3 WMMR have partnered up in the Philadelphia market to give away one of the limited edition Martin guitars this summer. The Preston and Steve Morning Show accepted entries from local artists for this competition. Artists submitted original songs that were about one minute long and included Yuengling and WMMR in the lyrics. After collecting all of the entries, WMMR has narrowed it down to eight finalists. The top eight submissions are posted on the WMMR website. These artists will have the opportunity to perform live on the Preston and Steve Show, and those live performances will get posted on the WMMR website for everyone to vote on.

They held the celebration at the Appalachian Ball Park, home of the West Virginia Power. The game started off great, when Yuengling’s own Patriot Pat Noone got to throw out the first pitch. It was a great evening to watch the ballgame, and the new Yuengling signage in the stadium looked awesome. The drink of choice for the evening was Traditional Lager 16 ounce cans. This is a great package, and everyone enjoyed them throughout the night. The management at the ballpark is thrilled to be serving Yuengling; and they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of draught beer. Thank you to everyone at Proud Eagle for inviting us to enjoy the game with them, we wish you the best of luck as you continue to spread the Yuengling story in our newest territory of West Virginia.
