Yuengling was out at the Sunset Bay Beach Club located along the shore of Lake Erie in Chautauqua County New York. The event was held on June 18th and it was an excellent summer evening to enjoy Yuengling on the beach! Patrons enjoyed Lager and Light Lager cans on special, while listening to live music by John Valby. The Yuengling crew was spreading the word about our big summer program, where one luck fan will win a custom Yuengling Orange County Chopper! Beach Club patrons had the opportunity to play Yuengling trivia for OCC hats and tees and also enter to win a Yuengling OCC mirror and an OCC jacket as grand prizes for the evening.

The Sunset Bay Beach Club is a great place to enjoy Yuengling while taking in the view of the picturesque beaches along Lake Erie. Thank you to Certo Brothers Distributing for making this a successful event.

After a few hours at Doc Watson's, Lord Chesterfield and his court moved over to The Draught Horse in the heart of the Temple campus to close out the final Friday of Philly Beer Week. Yuengling and Draught Horse hosted a home brew contest in which contenders signed up in advance and brought their best home brew for a panel of Yuengling judges to taste. Judges included members of our Yuengling sales team, Lead Brewer John Callahan, and Lord Chesterfield!

While the judges did their best to determine a winner of the home brew competition, patrons at the bar enjoyed Yuengling specials on Lager, Light Lager, Black & Tan, Porter, and Lord Chesterfield Ale. Patrons enjoying Chesterfield Ale got to keep the glass and a lucky few were awarded Chetty tee shirts for being loyal to the brand! Lord Chesterfield made his way around the bar to talk with fans, and advise those who sought his wisdom. The Draught Horse did an excellent job hosting this event and we thank everyone who came out to enjoy the evening!

Yuengling kicked off the last Friday of Philly Beer Week with our friends at Doc Watson's. Lord Chesterfield was on hand taking photos with Yuengling fans and spreading the word about In addition to Lord Chesterfield, another special guest was on hand. Yuengling's Lead Brewer John Callahan made the trip from Pottsville to enjoy the evening in Philly. Yuengling fans enjoyed talking with John about the entire line up of Yuengling products. This was a great opportunity for Yuengling customers to connect with someone who is involved in the day to day brewing processes that are responsible for great Yuengling brews!

Yuengling recently celebrated the launch of WB Brand Cigars in Orlando, FL. The brand is owned by former New York Jets quarter back Walter Briggs. Havana Sensation held the launch party where several retired NFL players attended and enjoyed fine Yuengling brews along with their cigars. Mike McDaniel from the TV series "Havin' a Beer with Mike" was also on hand enjoying Yuengling and interacting with customers. WB is striving to deliver premium brand cigars with his new line, so if you enjoy cigars be sure to check out his selections. Thank you to Mike McDaniel and everyone who came out for this event.

Yuengling was well represented at the brewers panel held on Thursday June 10th at Johnny Brenda's in Philadelphia. This Philly Beer Week event was a great chance for Philadelphia consumers to interact with knowledgeable individuals from several different breweries. Joe Six-Pack hosted the event and asked the brewers panel questions about competing brands and the changing industry on a whole.

The panel consisted of Jim Koch from Boston Beer Company, Phil Markowski from Southampton Publik House, Tim Kehoe from Yard's and our own Wendy Yuengling. Wendy contributed greatly to the panel by discussing and elaborating on the vital role that women are playing in the beer industry.

Johnny Brenda's was an excellent venue for the event. There were limited tickets sold for this event and and approximately 50 people attended. The Yuengling Heritage brands were available on tap for the evening and fans enjoyed Dark Brewed Porter and Chesterfield Ale while listening to the brewers discussion. Thank you to Johnny Brenda's owner William Reed for hosting the event!


Yuengling was recently selected by ESPN to represent the United States in the Page 2 World Cup of Beer. After match ups with several well known brands from around the globe, Yuengling Traditional Lager has been named the World Cup of Beer Champion! PBW 6-9-10

Lord Chesterfield and his Philly Beer Week crew moved to Locust Rendezvous last Wednesday night after the Elephant & Castle promo. Flyers fans were out in full force to cheer on their team in their quest for the Stanley Cup. Fans enjoyed Lager, Light Lager, Porter, and Lord Chesterfield Ale pint specials from 9-11pm. Yuengling fans also had the opportunity to interact with Lord Chesterfield and talk with Wendy Yuengling throughout the night. During breaks in the action, fans took time to check out the Lord Chesterfield bar stool and take photos with the Chesterfield standee!

PBW 6-9-10

The Philly Beer Week promotions continued on Wednesday June 9th at Elephant & Castle Pub & Restaurant. Elephant & Castle is a British style pub known for their menu filled with a wide selection of British classics. On this evening, patrons enjoyed Yuengling appetizers including Porter Beef Stew and Spicy Wings made with Lord Chesterfield Ale. Yuengling fans enjoyed these complimentary appetizers along with Yuengling happy hour specials including Lager, Light Lager, Porter, and Lord Chesterfield Ale!

Wendy Yuengling and Lord Chesterfield came out for the evening to meet patrons and help spread the word about This was an excellent opportunity for Lord Chesterfield to share and discuss his brew with a fine crowd of fans! Thank you to everyone who came out to this event, enjoy the pictures below.

PBW 6-8-10

Cherry Street Tavern hosted the Tuesday night Yuengling PBW promo and as you can see below, fans had a blast taking photos with the Lord Chesterfield standee. Cherry Street Tavern is known for their great menu featuring roast beef, roast pork, and chili. Tuesday night we paired some of these classic dishes with Yuengling products for patrons to enjoy. We coupled the roast beef dish with our Dark Brewed Porter and the roast pork with our hoppy Lord Chesterfield Ale. In addition to these great Yuengling products, fans also enjoyed Traditional Lager and Light Lager on tap.

The tavern owners, Bill & Bob Loughery, have been working at this establishment for 30+ years and they certainly did an excellent job hosting the event. In case you missed this event, you can enjoy $2.00 bottles of Light Lager at the Cherry Street Tavern all summer long so be sure to stop in! Enjoy the pictures below.
