SOUTH PHILLY BAR & GRILL PROMO

The South Philly Bar & Grill hosted one of our Martin Guitar events on Friday June 19th. This bar is located in the heart of South Philadelphia, between the famous Pat's Steaks and Geno's Steaks. This location is also central to the Italian Market in Philadelphia. They have a great menu selection, and twelve beers on draught. Our Friday night promotion featured $2.50 Lager pints and $2.75 Lord Chesterfiled Ale pints. WMMR DJ Kathy Romano attended the event, along with the WMMaRmy. They gave away shirts, iPod holders, concert tickets, and other MMR and Yuengling prizes.

CONSUMER BEVERAGE KAYAK GIVEAWAY

Consumer Beverage in New York is giving away a Yuengling Kayak to one of their customers this summer season. They are running a special deal throughout the month of July. Lager and Light Lager 24 pack cans will be priced at $14.99 at all 16 Consumer Beverage Locations. In addition to this great price, customers have the opportunity to enter to win the Yuengling Kayak that is on display at the Consumer Beverage at 2440 Clinton St. in Buffalo NY.

THE FIRE GUITAR PROMO

The Yuengling team in Philadelphia is hard at work with the WMMR bar promotions. The Fire on Girard Avenue held one on Wednesday June 17. The Fire was recently named "Best Venue in Philly for Emerging Artists" by Philadelphia Magazine, so doing a guitar promo there was a perfect fit. This club has had some pretty big names come through over the past few years, including Maroon 5, Damien Rice, Plain White Tees, and John Legend.

DJ Casey from MMR came out to meet fans and offer them chance to win one of the guitars and some other great prizes! Give aways for the night included MMR shirts, Yuengling shirts, iPod holders, Warped Tour tickets, and an i-Pod for the winner of the "Name That Lick" contest. There was a great turn out, and patrons enjoyed Traditional Lager and Lord Chesterfield Ale pints for the special Wednesday price of $3.00.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

OFFICER DIPONZIO BENEFIT

Rookies Bar in Rochester, NY recently held a benefit for Rochester Police Officer Anthony DiPonzio. Officer DiPonzio was shot while on duty several months ago as he was responding to a drug related incident. He is currently making great progress on his road to recovery. The benefit had a great turn out, the Rochester community came out in full force to show their support for this courageous officer.

Thank you to Wright Wisner and Rookies Bar for making this event a success. We wish the best to Officer DiPonzio and his family as he continues to recover from this injury.

WMMR VOTING

It is time to pick a winner for the 93.3 WMMR Contest that has been running in the Philadelphia market. Preston and Steve, of the morning show, have done their part narrowing it down to eight finalists, now it is time to do yours, and help pick the winner. You can go to the WMMR Website and view all of the finalists videos, and live in studio performances. Once you have decided which song is your favorite, text in a vote for that artist.

PHILLY GUITAR PROMO'S

Get ready to go Philly, Yuengling and WMMR are starting the holiday weekend off early, with three guitar promos this week! The MMaRmy will be out at all three events, giving patrons the chance to win some great prizes from Yuengling. An iPod will be given away at each event, and you can enter to win a limited edition Yuengling Martin Guitar at these events too.
