TUSC EVENT 1-28-10

The Temple University Snowboard Champion event was held at the end of January in the Philly market. The crew from Jack Frost Big Boulder came down for the event, and brought their snow making equipment along to create a snowboarders paradise right on campus! The turnout was great and students had a blast competing throughout the day. The fun continued at the Draught Horse as soon as the contest was over. Patrons enjoyed $2.00 Lager and Black & Tan pints as they kicked back to wind down from the day. Yuengling fans were grateful for the Yuengling snow gear that was given away and the grand prize of the sought after Yuengling snowboard. To qualify for the snowboard, fans were directed to submit their best snowboarding pictures to the Draught Horse Facebook page. Some of those pictures are posted below, along with some event pictures.

ARENA TAVERN 2-6-10

Join Yuengling, this Saturday 2-6-10, at the Arena Tavern in Duluth, GA for the Yuengling Wing Bowl! This contest will challenge participants to see who can eat 36 wings the fastest. Contestants will get Yuengling tee shirts, and compete for Yuengling prizes! If you are up to the challenge of eating get there early, because there will only be 20 contestants accepted and sign ups close at 2pm. If you are not into speed eating, the Arena Tavern has a full menu to go along with their Yuengling selection. There will be Yuengling giveaways for spectators who come to the tavern to watch the event too. Hope to see you there.

BEER & CHEESE PAIRINGS

The NFL season is coming to a close for the year this Sunday, as the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints face off in the final game of the season! The game will be played at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida. Tickets for this annual event are extremely difficult to get, and it is probably true that most football fans will be watching the game from the comfort of their own home, or at their favorite local sports bar. BLUE MT. 1-23-10

Blue Mountain Ski Area in Palmerton, PA held their second annual Yuengling Day recently. The weather was absolutely awesome and a huge crowd of skiers were on hand to enjoy the day. This meant there was a large crowd at the bar taking advantage of the Yuengling Specials being offered. Lager, Light Lager and Bock draught were on special for just $3.00 a pint from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The first half barrel of Bock was tapped at 12 noon and was gone by 3:45 p.m.! The response to our seasonal Bock was overwhelming and many requests were made on its availability. Patrons were excited to hear that Bock is available in 12 ounce bottles, and many planned on getting some to take home and enjoy!

Fans who attended this event had a great time enjoying the music and winning Yuengling prizes throughout the day. The grand prize for the day was a Yuengling snowboard which was won by a loyal Yuengling fan.

The Yuengling Winter Getaway promotions continued in the NY market at J.D. Oxford's in Rochester. Yuengling fans filled the bar on this particular Thursday night to enjoy $6.00 Lager pitchers. The Yuengling girls were on hand taking pictures with consumers, and giving out Yuengling long sleeve tee's and winter hats throughout the night. One lucky winner got to take home a Yuengling fleece too. With the January temperatures in NY, the winter gear from Yuengling will be put to good use!
