EAGLE ROCK FINALS

After 8 weeks and 20 promotions in the Northern Georgia market, a grand prize winner was awarded his Custom Yuengling Martin Guitar at Wild Bills in Duluth last week. The top Guitar Hero competitors from all of the promotions were invited out to compete for the grand prize at this event. DJ Aly, from Project 9-6-1 hosted the competition and had a crew on hand giving out some cool gear to fans. Bar patrons enjoyed Yuengling specials while they watched the competition on the big screen.

16 players competed in a bracket style competition playing Wii Guitar Hero. The stakes were high and the competition was fierce. Since this was the final event, the rules mandated that everyone must play the game on the hard level. At the end of the night, there were two players left, and they competed on the expert level. Austen Shantz played a great game and was awarded the Custom Martin D-41! He was excited over the win and very appreciative to Yuengling and Martin Guitar. The runner up, Stephen, was awarded a Yuengling rotating pub sign as a consolation prize. All the players received Yuengling prize packs for coming out and participating.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Yuengling Martin Guitar promotions in this market. Congratulations to Austen on the win!

BATAVIA DOWNS OCTOBERFEST

Yuengling recently took part in a Fall Octoberfest at the Batavia Downs Gaming and Racino in New York. Partnering with wholesaler CH Wright, Yuengling joined several other breweries for this sampling event. Attendees enjoyed Traditional Lager, Light Lager, and Black & Tan at the Yuengling table while playing Yuengling trivia for a chance to win prizes. Many lucky consumers walked away with lanyards, key chains, and blinky buttons to go along with their samples! The Light Lager went over very well at this event, as often a light beer is hard to find at a brew festival. Consumers also really enjoyed the Black & Tan, as fall is the prime season to enjoy this product. Thank you to everyone who came out and to CH Wright for making this another successful Yuengling sampling opportunity.

GA - LSU TAILGATE

TailgateHaven.com members were out at the Georgia vs LSU game this past weekend enjoying Yuengling at their favorite tailgate spot on campus. The TailgateHaven.com group 'Swilleygate' has been together for many years at the University of Georgia. Their tailgate location is literally in the shadows of Sanford Stadium, making for a great pregame party spot. The DawgWalk happens approximately 100 feet from the front of their tent. This past weekend there were both Georgia and LSU fans at the pregame festivities. Everyone had a great time getting ready for the game enjoying all kinds of food along with their Yuengling!
