Yuengling would like to invite fans who are planning on visiting the brewery this Friday, September 3, 2010, to participate in the "Give a Pint, Get a Pint Blood Drive." The blood mobile will be at the Mahantongo St. Brewery this Friday from 12pm-5pm. Donors will receive a free Yuengling pint glass for donating blood on this occasion. You should pass this idea on to your distributors! I live in the Saratoga Springs NY area and a former coal-cracker. We love Yuengling up here and I think this concept would go well with the cooperation of distributors and the Red Cross.
on a visit to the Greenville NC O'Charley's last Friday we noted that the chain had recently dropped Yuengling beer. Why, we asked? We were told that it was dropped because Yuengling does not participate in ad campaign. We looked up to see what they did offer. Bud? Bud Select? Hmmm. Why would a great company not be interested in making laminated table toppers? It might have something to do with the fact that instead of glossy ads, they are busy making BEER. Oh Well, O Charley's might want to reconsider dropping AMERICA's oldest independent brew. Because until they bring it back, we won't be coming around. By the looks of the crowd at 6:30pm on a FRIDAY we are not the only ones that feel that way.
