The final Food Dude event in Pittsburgh was the William Penn Tavern Wing Throwdown. This exciting promo put Kevin up against the house chef in a wing cook off. Kevin knew going into the contest that Wm Penn is a destination spot for the delicious combination of their house wings and Yuengling beer! The deck was certainly stacked against Kevin, with a crowd full of loyal patrons. The house chef, Fulton, made his signature wings and put them up against Kevin’s award winning wings in a taste contest. The wings were judged by a distinguished panel, including Pete Fazio of Yuengling, , the Wm. Penn Tavern owner, an employee, and a few Fuhrer sales representatives. Kevin put out a great plate of wings, but in the end Fulton was named the winner by the hometown crowd.
