WEST POINT POLAR FEST

Yuengling was proud to be the official beer sponsor of the 5th Annual Polar Fest at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. This annual event is presented by the Directorate of Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR). The Directorate of FMWR strives to provide quality programs and events for all of the military, their family members, and Department of Defense employees.

Polar Fest was held at the West Point Victor Constant Ski Slope and Lodge. The weather was perfect outside and the staff at the ski lodge created an awesome bar out of snow and ice right on the mountain. Once the bar was carved, Yuengling outfitted it right! We hung flags, wooden ski signs, and even a bright red neon sign. Behind the snow bar, Traditional Lager and Dark Brewed Porter taps were flowing all day.

Families enjoyed a blend of indoor and outdoor winter activities including a lift dart challenge, cross country skiing, snow tube bowling, downhill ski and snowboard races, big air competition, a pig roast, a live band and ice carving. Yuengling provided prizes for the day’s activities including snowboards, snow tubes, and winter Yuengling gear to help participants keep warm. After a long day on the slopes, everyone enjoyed warming up by the campfire. Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s successful event.
